As you may know, we've teamed up with Kinfolk Magazine to host a series of monthly events this year. Next Tuesday (July 9th) marks the second and we are thrilled to be working with Whole Foods Market to present "At the Butcher Block".The event will be led by a team of fantastic Whole Foods Butchers and Fishmongers... They will be discussing tips, techniques and practices for purchasing, preparing and enjoying a variety of meats, fish and chicken--including the following:
- What to look for when buying meat and fish, and sustainable practices
- How to de-bone a chicken
- How to fillet and de-bone a fish
- General fish preparation (seasoning/marinating)
- How to cure seafood
- The Whole Foods Charcuterie rep and Sommelier will also be on hand to talk about pairings and answer questions
All while we sip wine and snack on a lovely spread of charcuterie and cheese. AND, we have a fantastic takeaway gift!!
